Recent research have shown that we don’t drink enough water. Many of us drink water only when we are thirsty, which in no way is enough. Doctors warn that drinking water should become a habit, because the thirst is a sign of a dehydration.

In our body water is solvent, cooler and transporter of mineral matters and other important elements. It’s an essential part of every tissue. It makes 70 percent of our bodies, 85 percent of the blood, 80 percent of the brain, 70 percent of the muscles and 10 percent of the teeth.

Hard or soft

Often you can hear the dilemma of whether the water we drink is good or not. Most often it’s about whether the water is hard or soft. Hard water contains more calcium and magnesium, which means that it’s better for our health.

According to a British study, residents in towns with soft water have a ten percent greater risk of Heart and Blood Vessel Diseases. But, It has been proved that our health is far more affected by food we eat than the type of water we drink.
The colour of the water speaks of its quality to. On the white surface water should not have a yellowish colour. The amount of lime scale in the water can be checked by simple experiment. Make a pot of black tea and leave it to cool down. If there is a greasy trace on the surface the water contains more calculus.

Human can survive just a few days without water. If you drink less than you need, the body to create prerequisites for gallbladder inflammation, kidney stones, inflammation of the urinary tract … – Every day you should drink at least one and a half – two litters of water. It is almost impossible to drink too much water because healthy kidneys need water to work properly.

Substances that are soluble in water will be absorbed in the digestive tract no matter how much water you drink. Higher air temperature, increases the loss of fluid from the body, because larger amounts of water vaporites from your cells. Dehydration leads vertigo, fatigue, headaches, weakness and loss of concentration. Lack of water, particularly in those who suffer from low or high blood pressure can worsen their condition.
