This  priceless fruit is protected from deterioration by two layers. The only bad side is a high energy value, but this is why it&#8217;s great for children, athletes, the elderly and everyone with increased physical effort.</p>
<p>It has less fat than other nuts. Chestnuts, are also the only nuts that contain a measurable quantity of vitamin C. Unlike fruit walnuts, hazelnuts and beech, whose main ingredient is fatty oil, a major component part of the chestnut is starch (about 44% in raw nut).</p>
<p>Because of high starch content, chestnuts can be dried and ground into flour that can be used  alone or mixed with wheat flower to make bread and biscuits. Chestnut flour, is gluten free and easy to digest therefore is  perfect in the diet of elderly and children.</p>
<p>Chestnut also contains minerals, B complex vitamins as well as vitamins A and C. It&#8217;s rich in potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, chlorine, iron, copper, manganese. Since it&#8217;s rich in potassium and poor in sodium it&#8217;s recommended for people with kidney and blood illnesses.<span id="more-343"></span></p>
<p>Baked chestnut has higher energy value, a larger amount protein, fats, vitamins and twice more carbohydrates. Also, it contains vitamin E and phytochemicals not present in boiled chestnuts that contains larger amount of mineral substances.</p>
<p>Unlike sweet chestnuts, horse chestnut is not edible because of it&#8217;s bitter taste, but is famous it&#8217;s its medicinal properties. Coumarins. Flavonides. and Saponins are used in the production of pharmaceutical products &#8211; primarily for the blood vessels diseases treatment, such as enlarged veins, haemorrhoids and tromboflebitis.</p>

<p>Soybean seed is very rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals, also the products made from it are a rich source of these ingredients. <strong>Soy products</strong> can not be used as a replacement for other valuables for food items, especially not for foods of animal origin (<strong>meat</strong>, <strong>milk</strong>, <strong>eggs</strong>, <strong>fish</strong>), but are considered for foods, with equal place in the <strong><a target="_blank" href="http://www.bestdietsplans.com/" title="diet plans" >diet plans</a></strong>.<br />

<strong>Lecithin</strong> is the natural substance with excellent features, but less known than other soy products. It&#8217;s main ingredients are <strong>choline</strong> and <strong>inositol</strong> in the form of <strong>Phosphatidylcholin</strong>. Choline plays a key role in  the structure of biological membranes and can link to vitamins. Inositol can be found in food of plant origin, soybeans have it in large amounts. Large amounts of inositol are stored in human brain. Choline and Inositol are <strong>catalysts</strong> and <strong>lipotropic</strong> (<strong>fat emulsifiers</strong>).</p>

<p>The former Soviet Union and Romania  were especially focused on <strong>Apitherapy</strong>. In Russia Apitherapy has been used for 60 years, in Romania 50 years, in Japan, for example, it has been used since 1920. Special attention is focused on bee venom <strong>acupuncture</strong>. </p>
<p><strong>Honey</strong> is mostly used for <strong>fever</strong>, <strong>cold</strong>, <strong>sleep disorders</strong>, <strong>inflamed gums</strong> and <strong>pollen allergies</strong>. The best method is to take honey between meals. However, some have problems with the <strong>stomach</strong>. For this reason, it is recommended to use the honey with <strong>tea</strong>, (for instance herbal mixed tea). </p>
<p>It was noticed that the honey is excellent &#8220;transport material&#8221; for all other substances. If, for example, we take a pill with some honey, it&#8217;s action will be much faster than it would be without the honey. This is why tea with some honey in it is so good for cold.</p>
<p>It is recommends to mix 600g of honey with 300-400g of fresh <strong>pollen</strong>. One tea spoon 15 minutes before every meal is enough since the daily consumption of pollen should not exceed 30g. In the beginning it is recommended to take the honey/pollen mix after the meal since some time is necessary for <strong>digestive tract</strong> to adjust to pollen.<br />

<strong>Propolis</strong> straightens and stimulates your <strong>defence mechanism</strong>, and it&#8217;s very good against <strong>depression</strong>. It helps you <strong>detoxify</strong> (against environmental factors, such as radioactive rays for example, and against internal toxins such as those that appear when you have problems with <strong>liver</strong> and <strong>kidneys</strong>). It&#8217;s <strong>Anti-viral</strong> and <strong>anti-bacterial</strong> powers are very well known. </p>
<p>Pollen is not recommended in people with <strong>diabetes</strong>, because it raises the level of <strong>sugar in the blood</strong>, people with increased emission of <strong>gastric acid</strong> should be cautious with pollen as well.</p>
<p>Pollen does not only contain many of the essential <strong>vitamins</strong> and trace elements, it has all the most important <strong>amino acids</strong> and therefore is the most important <strong>vegetable source</strong> of <strong>protein</strong> in general. As a result, the pollen is ideal for all those who removed <strong>meat</strong> products from their <strong>diet</strong>. </p>
<p>Protein content of 100g of pollen corresponds to the amount of 500g veil meat or 7 eggs.<br />
It is of special importance to use fresh or fresh frozen pollen, because unlike dry pollen it contains a lot of <strong>enzymes</strong>, for our <strong>organism</strong> to use instead of its own while processing <strong>food</strong>. </p>
<p>Also it is important to use pollen properly, because otherwise you can not take advantage of it&#8217;s important ingredients. Therefore it is advised to stir in  the pollen in honey and leave it for 14 days to grow, because only then the so-called <strong>exines</strong>, very solid skin that protects pollen seed can be broken. </p>
<p>Exines are so strong that they are able to maintain and preserve the pollen grain for centuries. With similar mixtures you can treat chronic  pollen allergies and <strong>allergic rhinitis</strong>. They should take honey / pollen mixture in winter period. </p>

The results were combined with the U.S. Ministry of Agriculture data on how much each ingredient is present in ordinary daily consumption of food in average American <strong><a href="http://www.nutritiondietshealth.com">diet</a></strong>. The result showed that the coffee is the largest source of antioxidants per meals and by the level of consumption. Right after coffee are the <strong>black tea</strong>, <strong>bananas</strong>, <strong>bean</strong> and <strong>corn</strong>. &#8220;Americans get more antioxidant through coffee than other food &#8211; nothing else can even approach,&#8221; said Joe Vinson Professor Department of Chemistry University of Scranton in Pennsylvania.</p>
<p>Antioxidants help the <strong>body</strong> to remove harmful <strong>free radicals</strong>, abusive molecules that damage cells and <strong>DNA</strong>. Antioxidants have good influence on <strong>health</strong>, including protection against <strong>heart disease</strong> and <strong>cancer</strong>. Studies connect drinking coffee with a reduction in risk of <strong>liver cancer</strong> and <strong>colon</strong>, <strong>type two diabetes</strong>, and Parkinson&#8217;s disease.<br />

It is important to not forget beneficial effects of fresh fruits and vegetables, he warned. &#8220;Unfortunately, consumers still do not eat enough fruits and vegetables, which due to the high content of <strong>vitamins</strong>, <strong>minerals</strong> and <strong>fibbers</strong> are much better than the any other food,&#8221; said Vinson. Scientists showed that in comparison with other food, dates provide the largest source of antioxidant. Also <strong>cranberry</strong> and <strong>red grapes</strong> are very rich in antioxidants.</p>

<p>Andrew Baterman who is focused on living longer and healthier life is now thinking about taking one of these DNA tests. He says he read the add for the test that offers a diet based on the state of your cardiovascular system, metabolism and bone health.</p>
<p>You send your DNA sample to the laboratory in Seattle where a computer analysis the variations and changes in 19 specific <strong>genes</strong>. Gelex company representative says that based on the analysis  they can propose the changes you should make in your life.</p>
<p>For example, VDR gene variations indicate congenitally calcium and vitamin D deficiency which could be repaired with diet. Apparently the genetic code helps the scientists to design a Healthy diet for each person. The test costs about 400 dollars, but nutritionists claim that you&#8217;ll be throwing your money away.</p>
<p>Doctor Steven H. Zeisel says that this kind of genetic research is not fully developed to be applied in practice. He and other critics say that these tests often do not give any results, because testing of just 19 out of 20,000 genes that influence the probability of various disease development is an illusionary science.</p>
<p>Professor James C. Fleet, Ph.D. of the Purdue University says that it&#8217;s naive to believe that only few genes influence the development of diseases. Nobody specifies what amount of <strong> vitamins</strong> one should take, or in which way certain vitamin supplements improve health.</p>
<p>The very idea of a healthy diet plan based on your genetic code is not bad. Nutritionist say &#8211; it is promising but it needs to be tested thoroughly and that in their words will take at least 5 to 10 years.</p>
